What's the best business advice you've received in your career?
A former supervisor once told me to never ask a client or manager a question you can answer yourself with five minutes of research. I try to practice that every day and it has helped me learn a great deal along the way.
What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of passing the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Exam, with only two years of cybersecurity experience at the time.
How would you describe your management style?
I am open to new ideas and recommendations from my staff to improve our deliverables or work culture. I encourage everyone to learn as much as possible so they can connect the dots and understand the bigger picture. I also stress the need for staff to really take ownership of their projects.
